Gates

Gate Conveyors and Gate Kits are sold separately! You must purchase a 3' conveyor section and the compatible gate kit to create a hinge gate for your conveyor system. Both the 3' gate conveyor and gate kits do not come with supports or additional conveyor sections. To properly use a gate, you must have an existing conveyor system that is compatible with our equipment, or you need to purchase conveyors and supports to go along with your gate.

Gates are used to create an opening through a lane of gravity conveyor. The gas spring assist mechanism reduces the lifting force required to open the gate. Each end of the opening must be supported by floor supports. Gates are available in skatewheel or roller conveyor.

Construction

Our hinge gates are made of a 3' conveyor section paired with a gate kit. For both the skatewheel and roller conveyor gate there are options in material, frame size, and widths.

• Skatewheel: The skatewheel frame is made from a 2-1/2"x1"x12 ga. aluminum or galvanized steel channel

• Roller: The roller gate options has the 2-1/2" galvanized frame paired with 1-3/8" rollers on 3" centers or a 3-1/2"x1"x12 ga. painted steel channel with 1.9" rollers on 3" centers.

Gate Kits

Each 3' conveyor section is compatible with a specific conveyor gate kit. Once you have determined which 3' conveyor section will work for you application or existing system, direct yourself to 3' conveyor product page. Each 3' conveyor section will have the appropriate gate kit linked as a related item. This helps to ensure that you do not order non-compatible items. Supports

Our gates and conveyors do not come with the supports. Both ends of the gate will need to be supported. Supports come in different styles and heights. Replacement Parts

Gates are constructed of many pieces that can be replacement if they become damaged. Some of these pieces can be ordered directly from our website including rollers, skatewheels, and gate springs.
