ProFlex - Flexible, Extendable Live-Roller Conveyor System – Ashland Conveyor

ProFlex

Smart, Extendable & Flexible Live-Roller Conveyor System

ProFlex is a smart, extendable, flexible conveyance solution engineered for today’s fast-moving operations. It arrives fully assembled, runs on standard 120V power and includes integrated controls with multiple operating modes — giving you plug-and-play performance right out of the box.

How was ProFlex Designed?

A well-known high-volume material handling company gave us a list of all the consistent, frustrting failures they experience with the flexible, extendable conveyor systems they had been purchasing.

Our engineering team evaluated each one and built ProFlex, which is designed for longer service life and outstanding ROI.

We also included some other value-added features, like a patented roller/belt quick-change system that only takes minutes, and three operating modes to best match the operator's requirements.

Nothing kills productivity like downtime!

ProFlex is designed to improve flow, efficiency and performance. In a material handling operation, equipment reliability is the key to productivity.

Built for a Variety of Conveyance Operations

High-performance for 3rd-party logistics, manufacturing, e-commerce, distribution and retail operations. Perfect for truck loading/unloading and any operation that demands a flexible, mobile powered conveyor system.

Modes of Operation

Zero Pressure Accumulation: Each zone has a diffused photo-eye sensor and UL-listed 24V DC UniDrive brushless motor. Zones operate only when the downstream section is unoccupied, using advanced control features for smooth accumulation and efficient package flow, while reducing energy consumption and lowering maintenance costs.

Slug Mode (optional – transportation/ZPA hybrid) increases package throughput while maintaining accumulation characteristics. Accumulation mode conveys in one direction. In reverse, the conveyor operates in Transportation mode only.

Transportation:  The conveyor continuously moves packages without entering sleep mode, ensuring constant flow for high-throughput applications. Unlike Zero Pressure Accumulation, zones remain active even if downstream sections are unoccupied, prioritizing uninterrupted movement. Reverse is optional. Powered by UL-listed 24V DC UniDrive brushless motors.

Options

Advanced Controls: ProFlex control cards support advanced programming features that allow multiple modes of operation, real-time monitoring, remote management and seamless integration with other equipment for fully customizable and optimized conveyor performance

Safety Circuit: Enables integration with other equipment and supports multiple E-stops for enhanced operator safety and system control.

Impact Cart: Features powered polyurethane-sleeved rollers, a rigid frame, ergonomic pull handles and an integrated adjustable LED light kit. The sleeved rollers enhance durability and performance, while the light illuminates the inside of a trailer.

Side Guards: Factory-installed skatewheel side guards protect packages without restricting product flow.
